Miri Ben-Ari - The Hip-Hop Violinist

EJ has listed some of his favorite tunes he's spinning right now on his radio blog. Unfortunately, I can't install radio blog on my weblog, but it's no big deal. Instead, I'll list some joints below that are in heavy rotation on my computer.

Miri Ben-Ari -- "Sick Wit Da Flip" (Featuring Lil' Flip, E-40 and Czar-nok)

Nice track from the so-called "hip-hop violinist" and E-40 and Flipper.

I like Kevin Lyttle's tropical love jammie "Turn Me On," but he also does a nice remake of Terrence Trent D'Arby's classic slow ballad "Sign My Name."

Nelly's new joint "My Place" featuring R&B crooner Jahiem is currently smashing radio right now. The clip for "My Place" is already topping BET and MTV video playlists. I guess this is no secret when I tell you this -- Nelly is about to go double platinum, y'all. Lean back!

R&B newbie Lloyd is serenading the ladies softly with the "Southside" (Remix) featuring Scarface. But the real jam that's going to take his mediocre debut CD Southside to gold status is "Hey Young Girl." This track is sizzing-hot!

Lloyd Banks -- "I'm So Fly"
He's so damn wack!

The Roots -- The Tipping Point

Freestyle -- Etched In Stone

Freestyle (formerly of the Arsonists) has released a great rap album you are not listening to. Peep the techinque!

Future heat missle:

Terror Squad's remix for "Lean Back" will feature guest rappers Eminem and the comeback kid Mase.

Now that's going to be hoootttt!
