Sunday Random Ten: Damn, Look At All Of This Snow Edition

There's about 10-14 inches of snow outside and I'm not in the mood to shovel it. Oh well, what are you gonna do? Somebody has to do the dirty work. But before I go out and wage war on the snow, here's what's rockin' in my iTunes/iPod.

I stole this from the blog master Mister JT. Play along if you like with your own digital music players. To the lurkers, just post your top ten songs. Fuck it, we are all family.

Sunday Random Ten

1. What is the total amount of music files on your computer?

At work: 0 (We are not allowed to download music on the job, although I'm quite sure there are a few people who are downloading tunes. I simply don't do it because of time and necessity.)
At Home: 250 songs on iTunes.
On my preferred listening device, my 20GB iPod: 250 songs.
(I'm very selective with my downloads. I don't want a bunch of crap music in my iPod.)

2. The last CD you bought is:

The Game -- The Documentary.
Since I got a raise last week I figured I splurge and get the Game's CD The Documentary. It's not a masterpiece, but it's not completely garbage either.
Download these: "Runnin'," "Hate It Or Love It," "The Documentary"

3. What is the song you last listened to before this message?

Rock Co.kane Flow -- De La Soul (Featuring MF Doom)
It's get the juices flowing in my body.

4. Write down five songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.

My current "return-to-often" tracks are:

1. Ordinary People -- John Legend

2. Runnin' -- the Game

3. I Can't Stop Loving You -- Kem (this is a new song from his upcoming CD KEM II)

4. Soul Food -- Goodie Mob

5. Anytime -- Brian McKnight

**Bonus Track: I'm A Hustla -- Cassidy

I don't profess to know why these songs mean anything to me, I just know that these tunes are on heavy rotation in my iPod.
[EDIT: Well, "I'm A Hustla" by Cassidy is my Get Money anthem right now because I'm all about getting the paper in the '05. Fuck love, just cut the check, bitch.]

5. Who are you gonna pass this stick to (three persons and why)?

I have no one in particular that I want to pass this stick to -- so it's an opened casting call. C'mon now, play the game.
