Memorial Day Weekend Meme: Black Magic

THE RULES: 10 songs that sum up your weekend . . . or were on your weekend playlist . . . and one picture that relates back. (Oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did.)

01. "Summertime" -- DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince
Summa(sic) has officially arrived.

02. "Black Magic" -- As sung by funnyman Jerry Lewis
Over the holiday weekend, I watched Jerry Lewis in the hilarious Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde comedy, "The Nutty Professor" -- my all-time favorite Jerry Lewis movie.

03. "Air Force Ones" -- Nelly & The St. Lunatics
I had to scrub down my Nike sneakers with a toothbrush this morning so I would have some fresh white kicks to walk around in.

04. "I Can't Dance" -- Genesis
My twin brother actually sang this song at a karoke bar. Why? I have no idea.

05. "Boogie Nights" -- Heatwave
R.I.P. Johnnie Wilder Jr.

06. "Crazy" -- Gnarls Barkley
Is it crazy for me to like this song?

07. "Hustlin'" -- Rick Ross
It's the summer, time to get y'all hustle on! Word! Whip it real hard!

08. "13 and Good" -- BDP
Parents watch your 13, 15, 16 year-old daughters this summer, they are predators out there just waiting to snatched them up. Trust me, the temptation to have "relations" with a minor has hit me a few times with all of these young girls showing their butt cheeks in booty shorts and what not. But I have self-control; others just don't give a damn. To the fellas, watch this BDP video.

09. "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg" -- TLC
This past Saturday was Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes' birthday. (R.I.P)

10. "Snap Yo Fingers" because "It's Goin Down"
These two songs were getting the most spins at my family's Bar-B-Q get-together. I think it's official -- Lil Jon and Yung Joc have the crunkiest songs of the summer!

Fresh To Def

"Ass so fat that you could see it from the front . . . "
-- Mos Def

There's no need to show a backshot of this lovely hottie -- her front is just as beautiful as her back (word to Mos Def). This college graduate/stunner has proclaimed herself "Connecticut's Best Kept Secret."

Tayo has been modeling for seven years and in her spare time she's a gymnastics coach. The 27-year-old model has appeared in the hot men's magazine The Show, among many other publications. And hold on to your mouses -- her body measurements are a poppin' 36D-27-44. Ms. Fat Booty indeed!

To check out more pictures of her, check out her MySpace page and modeling website.

What's Poppin'!

Here are some things I'm watching and listening to via the Internets.

Kardinal Offishall -- "My T-Dot Shit" (The Canadian version)

Busta Rhymes' street anthem "New York Shit" is getting some mileage all the way up to the T-Dot. I'm still looking out for a rumored Little Brother version supposedly called "NC Shit." (props to Del on the audio hook-up)

Llyod Banks -- "My House"

Timbaland is back! That Nelly Furtado joint "Promisicous Girl" is picking up steam on pop radio and this is banging on rap radio. Are we looking at the seconding coming of Timbo?

Method Man (F/ Fat Joe and Styles P) -- "Yah Mean"

This joint is sick! I don't think this song is going to put New York City back on the rap map, but it certainly has a lot of swagger. I love the beat -- it's crunchy!

Ali & Gipp -- "Go Head" (music video)

Ahhhh, a nice booty video. You gotta love the booty. Ali and Gipp -- EPMD of the south?

Lil' Jon -- "Snap Yo Fingers" (music video)

Yeeeeuuuh! The Hype Williams-directed technicolor clip is off the chain. I'm not a big fan of snap music, but after watching this great video, I downloaded the song via iTunes. Props to Hype for flipping the widescreen vision once again.

Pharrell (F/ Kanye West) -- "Number 1"

This is not the hot collaboration I was expecting from these two guys. You would think that two multi-talented rapper-producers together on a track would bring some serious heat -- this is like a low flame. Fellas, you can do better than this.

Rick Ross -- "Hustlin'" (Remix) (Featuring Jay-Z and Young Jeezy)

Straight up: I don't want to listen to this remix. Why? Because I think Rick Ross' "Hustlin'" is a perfect rap song -- no assistance is needed. I totally love the original track. As for the remix, Jigga and Jeezy have lost their swagger and I'm in no mood to hear their phone-in lyrics. "Hustlin'" would be perfect for the soundtrack to the film version of Miami Vice. In fact, this song should be use as the main theme of the movie. Forget about that Lincoln Park/Jay-Z mash-up track they have featured in their trailer. Whip it real hard. Whip it, whip it, real hard!
(thanks to Lynne and the Vibe crew for the audio hook-up)

And finally, it's no secret on this blog that I'm a huge John Coltrane fan. Well, the good folks at Riverside Records will release an album of a brief 1957 studio collaboration between Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane called The Complete 1957 Riverside Recordings. The two-disc collection hits stores on June 27.

Monday Meme: Passive-Aggressive Catharsis

"Mind blowing decisions causes head on collisions . . . "
-- Heatwave, "Mind Blowing Decisions"

I stole this meme from Mister JT and Amandarin:

THE RULES: List up to ten (10) things you want to say to ten (10) different people. Do not state who these people are. Do not confirm or deny any "comment speculation."

01. I love you, but I don't know if I'm ready to get married.
02. Fuck you, you dumb bitch.
03. It's time for you to go, you have done enough damage.
04. You keep blowing up my cell phone, but I'm not going to answer it. So stop callin' me, bitch.
05. Hey dude, two words: deodorant and mouthwash -- use 'em.
06. I wish we had met at a different time in our lives because I think we'd be happily married by now.
07. Why won't you go out with me?
08. Fuck you too, you anal-retentive racist bastard.
09. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to turn you on.
10. You have a nice butt and beautiful toes, can I take you out tonight?

And I swiped this from Unconscious Mutterings ::

  1. Yours ::  Mines
  2. Charcoal ::  Bar-B-Q
  3. Platitude ::  Gratitude
  4. Graduation ::   Day
  5. Hungry ::  Like The Wolf
  6. Somewhere ::   Over The Rainbow
  7. Nurse ::   Betty
  8. Freak ::  Super
  9. Unbelievable ::  Notorious B.I.G.
  10. Walk ::   On By

Circus of Solei

During the spring and summer you can always find a circus rolling through your neighborhood. I think where I'm at -- in the NJ-Philly area -- the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus tour is in town.

But I digress -- this isn't about clowns and elephants, this is about the booty.

This cutie is not in the circus, but she can certainly be my ringmaster. She's my favorite hottie out of all the girls I have featured on this blog, so far. The Los Angeles-bred beauty has a bodacious figure -- 36D-24-40 -- and can be seen next in E-40's new VIDEO for "U and Dat" (featuring T-Pain and Kandi Girl).

Oh, and send her a Happy Birthday shout out as she will hit the legal drinking age (that's 21, folks) on May 27. I wondered what her birthday wish is?

Well, I wish her the best . . . and I wish she was here with me so I could get close to that donkey. Can you smell me, pimpin'?
