Bahamas Finale: Bye, Miami
November 10, 2008
These last two videos below are my final videos of my summer vacation in the Bahamas. The first clip is of me returning from the Bahamas and waiting for my charter plane out of Miami back to Philadelphia (final destination: New Jersey). But before I left Miami International Airport, I filmed a mural at the airport featuring various world music artists from the Rhythm Foundation. Afterward, I boarded my plane and left the M-I-A.
The song is a Maxi Priest cover tune of Jimmy Cliff's reggae classic, "I Can See Clearly Now."
The second clip is my visit to the island's top seafood restaurant, The Down Home Fish Fry. The food was absolutely deee-lish! For an appetizer, I had the tomato, onion and green pepper salad with a side order of Thousand Island dressing. For the entrée, I dined on fried snapper with grilled shrimp, fried onions, brown rice and cole slaw. Yummy!
