Ayatollah - Quixotic LP

Ayatollah -- "Harder They Come" (Instrumental)

Peep this new track from producer Ayatollah, which appears on his digital-only Instrumental CD, The Quixotic (due May 4). I love the reggae vibe on this joint.

Skyzoo -- "My Interpretation"

Straight from Skyzoo's latest CD, The Salvation. The clip features Skyzoo as the middle-man in the lives of two people who seemed to know the true meaning of "dope" and I'm not talking about beats. Watch it and let me read your interpretation of the video in the comments.

Tanya Morgan -- "Bang & Boogie"

Tanya Morgan has dropped an excellent video for "Bang & Boogie," from their most slept-on LP Brooklynati. The well-directed clip reminds me of Mos Def's classic video, "Ms. Fat Booty," as the trio (Von Pea, Donwill and Ilyas) rap about their crazy misadventures with the opposite sex. The women are looking quite lovely in this video (Whitney, holla at me!). Props to director Berman Fenelus on the visuals. Can I say he is the next Rik Cordero? #imjustsayin

Little Brother -- "Curtain Call"

"Curtain Call" is not my favorite song from Little Brother's swan album LeftBack (in stores now). After watching the clip, I appreciate the song and the clip's conversational, down-to-earth tone. It's so hard to say good-bye. Thanks for the memories, Phontigallo and Rapper Big Pooh. But before y'all go, can we get a video for LeftBack's standout track, "24" (featuring Torae)? #imjustsayin
