Guess who's back?!

Just in time for the unofficial kick-off of the summer season, Kanye West drops a monstrous track called "Power." The song is expected to appear on his upcoming disc, tentatively titled Good Ass Job. The single also should be available via iTunes on June 8.

A relatively unknown studio maverick named S1 (aka Symbolyc One) co-produced the song with Kanye. This song will certainly make S1 a household name now. Good ass job, young man.

After a couple of spins, I like the song. There's a sprinkle of lyrical quips from Kanye that I like, including, "How 'Ye doin'? I'm survivin'."

As for the "21st Century Schizoid Man" sample you hear throughout the song, it's by British rock band King Crimson. Hmmm, schizoid man, kinda fitting, don't ya think? Ha! No shots at Kanye.
