It's February. Not only is it Black History Month, it's also DILLA Appreciation Month in which we celebrate the life and music of the late J Dilla. New York and Houston (Texas) are putting on tribute/benefit shows this week with proceeds going to the J Dilla Foundation.

J Dilla: Still Shining Documentary (Trailer)

Gifted Films and Brian Atkins present J Dilla: Still Shining, a film that chronicles the life and musical legacy of the late producer J Dilla. The film is scheduled for release on Feb. 7, which is Dilla's 33rd birthday and three days shy of the fifth anniversary of his untimely death (Feb. 10).
