New Video: Saukrates - "Say I"

Say I Cover

There are plenty of great rappers from Canada other than Drake. I've been hip to Canuck rhyme-spitter Saukrates since his Underground Tapes days, so this is a real big look for him.

Sauk (or Bigg Soxx) has teamed up with Nike for their "Always On" campaign, which is a six-vignette series focusing on the lifestyles of Nike's top athletes. You might have caught Stalley's "Born To Win" video with Los Angeles Lakers b-baller Lamar Odom.

For Saukrates's "Say I" video we get to see how Montréal Canadiens hockey player P.K. Subban stay in such tremendous shape outside of the ice ring. That's reminds me, I need to find my gym membership card and get my weight up, I'm looking flabby around the middle.

Anyway, check out the video, and if you dig the song, you can download it, right HERE.

New Video: Jill Scott - "So Gone (What My Mind Says)" [F/ Paul Wall]

Diamond Girl: Jill Scott

Apparently, this is Jill Scott's favorite song from her latest LP Light of the Sun. In the clip, the Philadelphia songbird plays a lonely woman yearning for the "Diamond Chip Dick" (played by the bejeweled-mouthed rapper Paul Wall). But what she doesn't know is that someone else is chipping on that ding-a-ling (*Pause*) -- his wife. Check out the sexy Jilly From Philly and her, um, twins. Ha!

New Video: Common - 'Blue Sky'

Common

Chicago wordsmith Common finally released the visuals to his fantastic song "Blue Sky." The Parris-directed video features various people in different places trying to pursue their dreams. There's the graffiti writer, ballerina, basketball player and a pregnant woman in a bathtub (yeah, that's kinda weird). Check out the video below:

Sky's the limit!

New Music: Wale - "Ambition" (F/ Rick Ross & Meek Mill) [Prod. by T-Minus]

Wale Ambition Cvr

I'm not a big Wale fan. However, I'm loving this new joint "Ambition," which features his Maybach Music Group compadres Rick Ross (R-Ruh!) and Meek Mill. I think everyone can relate to Mr. Folarin's dreams of trying to make it in America. Ricky Rozay and Meek Milly also give strong rap performances, as well. Hit-maker T-Minus did the phenomenal beat, which sounds almost similar to Lil Wayne's summer banger "She Will." But I'm not going to nit-pick, it's a great song, overall.

Wale's second album Ambition will hit stores on Nov. 1.
