Lion Babe Drops Summery Single 'Endless Summer,' Announces New Mixtape

With the official start of summer just around the corner (June 21), it’s time for artists to drop some music that’s perfect for the warm weather. Enter: Lion Babe. The New York duo just announced title of their new mixtape, which is called Sun Joint.

The first single from the project is the summery tune, “Endless Summer.” The collection boasts 11 songs and is being described as a feel-good mixtape with a variety of sounds including “soul, funk and electronics and earworm melodies.”

The project will also feature "Jungle Pussy" on one track and co-production from DJ Dahi on another. There's also two guest appearances from Angel Haze and Raury.

The Sun Joint mixtape, which will be available on June 21, is the follow-up to their debut album Begin, which is easily one of the best albums of 2016.

New Music: Raheem DeVaughn -- "Unchained (Django's Revenge)"

Raheem DeVaughn

Inspired by Quentin Tarantino's western/slavery flick Django Unchained, Raheem DeVaughn recorded this head-nodding anthem "Unchained (Django's Revenge)." Although it doesn't appear on the movie's accompanying soundtrack, it needs to be. It's fits perfectly with Jamie Foxx's steely character in the movie. The "R" is not silent on this soulful gem. This is some dope shit.

Oh, and you might be familiar with the beat -- it's EPMD's 1988 classic song "Strictly Business."

New Video: Omarion - "M.I.A" (Featuring Wale)

O-My!: Omarion and a Big Booty Gurl

Omarion finally releases a visual for "M.I.A.," one of the standout tracks on the Maybach Music Group's compilation LP Self-Made, Vol. 2. In the clip, Maybach O is caught dirty macking as his boo finds another girl's lingerie in the laundry hamper.

This is Omarion's third single -- along with the bangers "Let's Talk" and "Ice Cold" -- where he's impressively shown that he can be a contender in the R&B game.

Now can he make a listenable studio album? Only time can tell. In the meantime, we have to wait and see what the singer brings with his free mixtape Care Package, which hits the Internets on Nov. 29.

New Video: Avery Storm - "Nightcall" (Kavinsky Flip)

R&B Singer Avery Storm

The last time we've heard from Avery Storm he was getting "Rich Off Cocaine" with Rick Ross in 2009. Now the R&B crooner is back on the solo tip and has been releasing some free songs through his website. The latest tune is called 'Nightcall," which is an unique flip of Kavinsky's vocoder-tinged tune of the same name, which was produced by Daft Punk. You might also recognize this song from the Ryan Gosling movie Drive and rapper Childish Gambino recently sampled the song for "R.I.P" on his mixtape Royalty.

In the video, Storm is driving his car in the dead of night as he pours his heart out over the acoustic-driven track. It's a beautiful rendition and Storm's yearning vocals turns Kavinsky's 80's-inspired song into a contemporary power-pop ballad.

It's a great song and a dope video. Props to Avery Storm.
